StoreQA Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 6, 2026

Data we access

StoreQA reads Shopify product, variant, image, inventory, SEO, vendor, product type, metafield, discount, shop, and installation data needed to analyze catalog quality and run saved basket scenarios.

StoreQA does not request product write access and does not automatically change products in Shopify.

StoreQA does not request order access or customer account access for its catalog QA workflow.

How data is used

Product and discount data is used to generate readiness findings, scan history, product recheck queues, discount audit results, and basket scenario results for the installed shop.

Basket scenarios may create Storefront API carts to observe product availability, totals, warnings, and discount-code applicability. StoreQA does not submit checkout or place orders.

Storage and retention

StoreQA stores Shopify sessions, product snapshots, findings, scan history, basket scenarios, discount audit summaries, and internal recheck jobs in its production database.

When the app is uninstalled, Shopify sessions are deleted. Product QA history, basket scenarios, queued rechecks, discount audit summaries, and billing metadata are deleted when Shopify sends a shop redaction request. Product QA history deletion can also be requested by contacting support.

Customer data

StoreQA is designed for catalog QA and does not need customer personal information to operate. Shopify privacy webhooks are implemented for customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction.
